Greek Government Mandate Passes to Venizelos’s Pasok

Greeks May Hold $510 Billion Trump Card in Renegotiation

UPDATE 1-Greek unemployment hits record amid political turmoil

That did not take long at all.  Just when we thought the problems in Greece were over they flare back up again.

The election problems are interesting in that if the winning party cannot put together a coalition then they shift down the line until all the parties are exhausted creating a new election.

This means that we will go through this election cycle until a government is formed.  Once the government is formed the markets will have to figure out just what it entails considering many radical parties gained significant voting blocs after the last election.

As for the bailout and austerity agreements signed earlier this year......they may be on very thin ice when all is said and done as Greece may choose to pull and Argentina with Europe.
